The Cat Hospital on Park Street
I was fortunate to have grown up in a family that allowed and encouraged me to pursue my love of both animals and science. From the time I was a young girl nursing fallen fledglings in a shoebox to rescuing a litter of orphaned kittens from a nearby highway, it was evident that animals were my passion. I have loved and lived with some extraordinary animals and they were my inspiration for becoming a veterinarian. I am thankful for the incredible education I received at Auburn University’s School of Veterinary Medicine. They taught not only care and respect for animals but also for the people who cherished them.
